In Need of Volunteers or Funding?

JLA provides volunteers and/or funding to agencies who address Women's Concerns and Children's Issues.

Social service agencies 501(c)(3) may apply for funding for long-term projects, short term community assistance and emergency needs.

There are three funding avenues:

  • Projects - These requests are for future funding and volunteers. This request should be brought to the Research and Development Committee.
  • Co-Sponsorships - These requests provide funding for meetings, forums, and conferences. They are granted out of current funds.
  • Community Assistance - These requests address needs of an emergency nature. Funds that provide for an immediate need of an agency.

Center for Community Service

JLA raised funds, received grants, and worked many long hours to acquire a permanent headquarters and meeting facility available for use by other volunteers and non-profit agencies serving the people of Arlington. The Center for Community Service is located at 4002 West Pioneer Parkway.

Need a Meeting Place?

The league offers free meeting space at the Center for Community Service to 501(c)(3) agencies for the purpose of conducting business and/or training sessions. Office space for two non-profit agencies is currently provided at the Center for Community Service.
