The Junior League of Arlington will host the Little Black Dress Initiative on October 9 — 13 to raise awareness about its new community impact on abuse prevention. Participants wear the same black dress for five consecutive days. They are encouraged to harness the power of social media to drive financial support and educate the community about the financial issues women face when they leave abusive situations.
