In diversity there is beauty and strength
The mission of the Junior League of Arlington (JLA) is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training.
Our vision is that trained, committed JLA members will impact the Arlington community through leadership, service, and funding.
To achieve our mission and make our vision a reality, JLA focuses on supporting women, children, and families in crisis. We provide volunteers to area nonprofits and lead community projects that directly address the pressing needs of Arlington families.
But we don't just offer help; we provide empowerment. We help women make a real difference in the greater Arlington area with training and leadership development. When they work together with other women and community members, their influence and skills grow. We've seen local impact go global. That's what it means when we say the Junior League is developing women to do a world of good.
JLA is a proud member of The Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI), a global organization over 295 leagues strong.
JLA welcomes all women who value our Mission. We are committed to inclusive environments of diverse individuals, organizations, and communities. JLA believes that creating and sustaining a diverse membership is critical to our Mission. Living the value of diversity means we are committed to centering equity, inclusion, and belonging in our individual, organizational, and community relationships.
